Meet Rhonda Cassidy

I was born and raised right here in Ocala, and I've spent more than five decades watching this town grow — from the horse farms and the live oaks to the neighborhoods and communities we see today. I raised my two daughters here, and now my grandchildren are growing up here too. This isn't just where I work. It's home.

Before Real Estate

For more than 20 years, I worked as a store manager for a national furniture retailer. It taught me how to lead a team, how to solve problems under pressure, and most of all, how to earn and keep a customer's trust. I didn't know it then, but every one of those years was preparing me for the work I do now.

A Promise I Made to My Mother

My mother and I used to dream about getting our real estate licenses together. We signed up for our first class side by side. She passed away from breast cancer before we ever sat in that classroom. I carried that dream forward on my own, and I think about her every time I help a family find their way home.

My previous career chose me. I chose real estate.

Not long after, my employer asked me to relocate out of Ocala. That was the moment I knew what I wanted. I chose to stay, and I chose real estate — a career where I could build something of my own, in the town that raised me.

How I Work

Honesty comes first, always. Your best interests come before my own, every time. I like to tell my clients we're wearing the same team jersey — we win together. I'm a problem solver by nature, and real estate throws plenty at you: appraisal issues, inspection surprises, repair negotiations, contracts that need a steady hand. I handle it so you don't have to carry that weight alone.

My care for a client doesn't end at the closing table. I've coordinated estate cleanouts and arranged lawn care for out-of-state families selling a parent's home, because sometimes what people need most isn't a form filled out — it's someone who shows up for them.

Every Monday, I block off time I call Marketing Monday — a standing appointment with myself to study market trends, track competing listings, and sharpen pricing strategy for my clients. As an eXp ICON Agent, I also mentor newer agents coming up in this business, because someone did the same for me.

Outside of Work

At home, it's my husband, our family, and our twin granddaughters, Camilla ("Mug") and Charlotte ("Sweet Char"), who keep me laughing. You'll find me out on the course with my golf league, or out on the water fishing — both Florida coasts are just a short drive from here, which is one more reason I love calling Central Florida home.
